NY Conference UCC Annual Meeting

This past Saturday, June 1st, Lucy and John Werner and Reverend Kelly drove to Binghampton, New York for the NY Conference annual meeting. Kelly preached at the installation ceremony of Rev. Dr. Marsha Williams as the Conference Minister. They met up with old UCC friends across the state including Webster NY UCC Rev. David Gregory who served as our interim minister prior to Kelly’s call to ministry at SCC.

Rev. Dr. Marsha Williams helped us in the search process to find Kelly, now seven years ago! At the time Rev. Dr. Williams was the UCC NY Associate Conference Minister. Kelly served alongside Rev. Dr. Williams on the Association Board of Directors and Joya has had the pleasure of serving with her on the Conference Board. Looking forward to her outstanding leadership for the wider church and our SCC congregation.
