'Souper Bowl' Sunday! February 11th
We hope you will join our annual 'Souper Bowl' Sunday offering. The national “Souper Bowl of Caring” is a campaign held each year on Super Bowl Sunday to raise awareness and funds to combat hunger. Each year, our church school children raise the issue of food insecurity in worship, and then collect donations for local food justice organizations: this year we have decided to support TWO organizations that we really respect and want to support: Feeding Westchester, which tackles hunger locally in a variety of ways and Community Service Associates, which is a free meal program in Mount Vernon. We hope to see many of you in worship on Souper Bowl Sunday and hope that you will donate generously and from the heart to support this important ministry. You can also give online simply by naming "souperbowl Sunday" in the memo.
Thank you! ~ SCC Church School
