Grassroots Grocery Recap

On Saturday morning, it was chilly but our hearts were warm, knowing that we were helping so many Bronx and Manhattan residents in need of healthy, fresh produce. About 40 SCC folks participated in bagging veggies, moving boxes to pallets and loading cars with the recovered food. Some even delivered the much appreciated goods to neighboring residences!
