May 30, 2010: Brett Terry is hired as Organist and Music Director, effective August 1.

May 22, 2011: Phil Washburn and John Schuder are presented plaques honoring their roles as Senior Minister Emeritus and Minister of Music Emeritus. The plaques are hung in the narthex.

March 17, 2012: Rev. Tony Robinson leads an all-church retreat in Dyckman Hall. Over 70 persons participate.

September 2012: Rachel Small-Stokes leaves to accept a call to the Union Church in Berea KY. In October Larissa Romero arrives as Director of Christian Education.

April 2013: Clergy Relations recommends that the church not enter a long-term search to replace Larry Kalajainen when he retires at the end of June. Instead, they recommend Frances Wise Grenley be our Senior Minister. In our Annual Meeting April 28, we vote to amend Fran Grenley’s call to designate her as Senior Minister effective July 1, 2013. Because Rev. Grenley lives in her own house, the manse at 47 Woods Lane is being prepared for rental.

October 18, 2014: We open our Jubilee Year with a Homecoming Dinner in Dyckman Hall attended by over 130 persons. On October 19 former clergy Gary Brown, Leslye Noyes and Phil Washburn join us for Homecoming Worship.

May 31, 2015: We say good-bye to Music Director and Organist Brett Terry who has accepted the position of Minister of Music and Worship at the Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg PA. Sandro Russo is named Music Director and Organist in July.

June 7, 2015: During Church School Sunday worship we celebrate the service of Larissa Romero who has been called as the Senior Minister of the Pascack Reformed Church in Park Ridge NJ. She is followed by Daniel Schlorff who serves until September 2016.

November 22, 2015: In worship we celebrate 120 years of Christian Education. Former Christian Educators Liz Junod, Sally Norris, Misao Johnson and Kay Kobbe participate in this service.

December 2015: The Outreach Committee announces the creation of the SCC Task Force to Address Gun Violence. On December 20 we host a community-wide vigil to honor the third anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

June 5, 2016: We re-dedicate our renovated playground as “Ruby’s Playground” honoring Ruby Woosnam’s 40 years as an educator in our Nursery School.

May 7 and 14, 2017: We gather in “Town Halls” to discuss whether to renovate the manse at 47 Woods Lane or sell that property and build at new manse on our land at 2 Heathcote Road. On June 25 we vote to sell 47 Woods Lane.

August 17, 2017: We welcome Joya Colon-Berezin as our Director of Christian Education and Ministerial Assistant. With her ordination on November 18, Rev. Colon-Berezin becomes our Minister of Christian Education.

October 1, 2017: Frances Wise Grenley preaches her last sermon as our Senior Minister, “Ave atque Vale”. On October 8 Rev. David Starbucks Gregory begins his service as our Acting Minister until our new Senior Minister arrives.

October 15, 2017: We vote to call Rev. Kelly Hough Rogers as our eleventh Senior Minister.

February 4, 2018: Kelly Rogers leads us in worship as our new Senior Minister. When she receives her doctorate in May she becomes Rev. Dr. Kelly Hough Rogers. She is installed on January 27, 2019.

March 20, 2018: The Heathcote Association signs the consent agreement allowing the construction of the manse at 2 Heathcote Road. Work on the new manse begins.

May 2018: Our Senior Youth Fellowship (SYF) has it last meetings.

August 22, 2018: The office of the New York State Attorney General approves the sale of 47 Woods Lane. On August 30 we close on this sale. On August 31 we receive the Certificate of Occupancy for the new manse. The Rogers family moves in, ending their commute from Connecticut. On September 12 Scarsdale Village gives the Certificate of Occupancy for the reconfigured parking lot at 2 Heathcote Road. Cars can again park there.
