March 2, 2020: Movie Monday features “Ford v. Ferrari”. On March 7 we hold a regular spring clothing sale. On March 8 we hold our last regular in-person worship before Covid hits.

March 11, 2020: The World Health Organization (WHO) declares Covid 19 is a pandemic. In e-news on March 12 we learn all in-person gatherings at the Church are suspended until further notice.

March 15, 2020: We have our first filmed worship service brought to us over YouTube.

March 22, 2020: Church School begins to meet via Zoom. Other Zoom gatherings begin: the Lent book group, a prayer group led by Rev. Kelly Hough Rogers, Rev. Joya Colon-Berezin and Sharon Oliver, the Meditation Collective also led by Rev. Colon-Berezin and Sunday-morning “coffee hours” led by Rev. Rogers.

September 12, 2021: With technology in place, we begin live-streamed, masked, in-person worship. Church school meets outside.

October 15 and 16, 2021: Congregants participate in a Zoom-based racial justice workshop. Beginning in January 2022 a racial justice group begins to meet via Zoom on the last Sunday of each month.

December 5, 2021: Bringing in Christmas is a lively, masked, socially distanced celebration with no food or drink, thus allowing participants to remain masked.

March 13, 2022: Volunteer singers begin singing with the section leaders, their first participation since the Covid pandemic began.

April 30, 2022: Our full-blown, masked Garage Sale breaks previous revenue records.

April 2023: The children begin using the playground re-designed to mitigate flooding and to provide new equipment for two-year olds.
